Hi. My name is Aline, owner of Kharzet lulu.

Lulu, is a nickname near and dear to my heart, given to me by the members of my family. Lulu (لؤلؤ), is also an Arabic word for pearl, which my grandpa whom I deeply love and admire, calls me. Kharzet lulu literally translates to (lulu’s bead) and (pearl bead) in Arabic. Whichever  the translation might be, they both resonate with me on a personal level.

I’m a graduate of Interior Architecture, and a lover of all things artistic. My passion for clay began after my country plunged into the worst economic crisis it has ever faced. Due to being freshly out of university and unemployed, starting a business out of my passion helped me cope with things and I’ve been hooked ever since. It is my way of expression through wearable art, and there’s nothing more joyous than seeing others wearing my creations. It means so much to me that you have found my site and are reading this.
